Debbie Windoloski
Topic: Gardening

Debra Windoloski, owner of Gardenscapes, is a certified Master Horticulturist through the University of Guelph in Ontario. An avid gardener for the past 20 years with extensive display gardens at her Hadley property, she began Gardenscapes in 1999 to offer area homeowners a variety of professional gardening services. Debra is a member of several local, regional and national horticulture organizations, travels to garden venues extensively, and continues to further her horticulture studies by attending workshops, seminars and taking additional home-study courses. She is also a member of the Garden Writers Association of America and a founding member of the local horticultural organization Taking Root!

Prior to beginning Gardenscapes she was a marketing communications specialist for several area companies and owned her own marketing consulting firm, DSW Marketing Services, for several years.
   

    

Dr. Valerie Young
Topic: Careers & Development

Dr. Valerie Young left the Fortune 500 fast track to launch her own publishing and training company. She is publisher and editor of Changing Course, a bimonthly newsletter for people who want to live life on purpose, work at what they love, and follow their own road.

A nationally known workshop leader, Valerie has presented to over 20,000 people on such topics as "Self-Management for Success," "Overcoming the Impostor Syndrome," and "Working With Diversity." Her work has received wide media recognition including articles and features in USA Weekend, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and Management World. She has appeared on Boston's People Are Talking (ABC), The Wall Street Journal's "Work & Family," and other programs around the country.

She is a contributing author to Not As Far As You Think: The Realities of Working Women.

She earned her doctoral degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
  

     

Susan M. Miller
Topic:
Pet Care

Susan M. Miller, The Canine Counselor, is a certified veterinary technician, animal behavior consultant, trainer and writer. She offers individual in home consultations for problematic behaviors such as aggression, housetraining, noise phobias and separation anxiety. In addition, Susan is available to help owners train their dogs for puppy through advanced obedience classes at the Williamsburg Animal Clinic, the Florence Community Center and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Springfield. She also volunteers her time at several local animal shelters. Susan is the author of the weekly column “Pet Pointers” featured in the Daily Hampshire Gazette.

Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Westfield State College and an associate’s degree in Animal Science from Holyoke Community College. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, MVTA, and NAVTA.  With the philosophy of animal training through positive reinforcement, she has helped thousands of pets and their human companions throughout New England.
